At the beginning of 2022 Joe and Mary began working with Jacie and Wayne Jensen of Thorn Creek Native Seed Farm. After a season of learning from the Jensens, the Heins are sowing the seeds for their farm, Rose Creek Seed.

WRI provides seed into the wholesale and retail seed markets as well as to government agencies in the Western United States. With emphasis on cool season grasses, WRI focuses its sales effort on the re-vegetation of lands affected by disturbances and providing forage in all types of habitats including grasslands, shrublands, forestlands and riparian areas.

Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center is a nonprofit organization located on 240 acres of forest and farmland bordering the Snoqualmie River in Carnation, Washington.
