NPSOT works to promote native plant appreciation, research, and conservation. The South Texas Chapter NPSOT holds regular quarterly meetings on the last Saturday of each quarter at 2:00 pm at locations to be determined.

The University of Texas at Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is the Botanic Garden of Texas. The Center promotes its mission to inspire the conservation of native plants through its internationally recognized sustainable gardens, education and outreach programs, research projects, and consulting work.

Cross Timbers Native Plants promotes conservation, research and utilization of the native plants in the rich biological region west of Fort Worth.

The chapter meets at the Texas Parks  and Wildlife Department Nature Center at 11942 FM 848 (Bascom Hwy) in Tyler,Texas on the first Monday of  the month, Sept-May;second Monday if the first  Monday is a holiday.

The Amarillo Chapter generally meets on the third Tuesday of the month March thru October.  Meetings start with a guest speaker about native plants or related topics, followed by a brief business meeting.
