The Missouri Ecological Services Field Office focuses on Endangered Species, Environmental Contaminants, Natural Resource Damage Assessment and Restoration, and Conservation Planning Assistance in the state of Missouri

Founded in 1991, the Columbia Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office has worked on dozens of projects throughout the midwest including measuring our invasive Asian carp catches in tons, surveying fish passage locations in the thousands and transporting more pallid sturgeon broodstock to hatcheries than any other fish and wildlife conservation office in the region.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, working with others, is responsible for conserving, protecting, and enhancing fish and wildlife and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people through Federal programs relating to migratory birds, endangered species, interjurisdictional fish and marine mammals, and inland sport fisheries.
