The Idaho Fish & Wildlife Foundation was established in 1990 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to preserve and sustain Idaho’s fishing, hunting and wildlife heritage.

  The Wildlife Diversity Program works to protect almost 10,000 species. That is 98% of Idaho’s biodiversity! From songbirds, raptors, bats, squirrels, frogs, and lizards, to thousands of insects and other invertebrates, as well as Idaho’s native plants, many nongame species are common and can been seen in your own backyard.

  Bringing information to bear on the management and conservation of fish, wildlife, and plants in Idaho. The Idaho Fish and Wildlife Information System (IFWIS) is a comprehensive information system for standardizing data on fish, wildlife, and plants in Idaho.

Idaho Fish and Game is charged with preserving, protecting, perpetuating and managing all wildlife in the state for present and future generations.

The Governor's Office of Species Conservation was established within the Executive Office of the Governor during the 2000 Idaho Legislative Session with passage of Senate Bill 1490 (§ 67-818, Idaho Code).

Research Interests Forest and native plant nursery propagation, outplanting, and establishment including biophysical and physiological limitations and adaptations within each system.

I provide expert support to state, industrial, and private forest and native plant nurseries in 17 western states and the Pacific islands. This entails advising nursery managers and other plant professionals on a variety of issues and opportunities pertaining to seedling production, native plant restoration, and forest regeneration as well as assisting with problem solving and providing guidance in developing strategies to address seedling quality issues.

Formed in 1993, the North American Butterfly Association (NABA), a not-for-profit membership organization, is the major North American organization promoting conservation of butterflies and their habitat.
