Mount Lassen Chapter - California Native Plant Society CNPS Mission Statement The mission of CNPS is to conserve California native plants and their natural habitats; and increase understanding, appreciation, and horticultural use of native plants.

The Sanhedrin Chapter of the California Native Plant Society comprises the inland part of Mendocino County and all of Lake County. From its origins in 1981, the active core has invariably resided in the 40-mile long inland valley corridor between Hopland to the south and Willits to the north.

THE REDBUD CHAPTER OF NEVADA AND PLACER COUNTIES Placer and Nevada Counties are located on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada mountain range between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.

The North Coast Chapter is one of the 33 local chapters of CNPS. Our members are mostly in Humboldt, Del Norte, western Siskiyou, and western Trinity counties, and most of our field trips are in that area.
