Intermountain West Joint Venture

The Intermountain West Joint Venture (IWJV) was established in 1994. Our mission is to conserve and enhance bird habitats at meaningful scales through capacity building, science, communications, and strategic partnerships.

We are a self-directed partnership with shared conservation priorities governed by a management board composed of federal agencies, state fish and wildlife agencies, industry, nongovernmental organizations, private landowners, agricultural producers, and tribal representatives.
