Kansas State Wildlife Grants have conserved 11,155 acres
Kansas State Wildlife Grant to Benefit Species of Greatest Conservation Need: as of December 2012, 21 projects directly impacting 11,155 acres of LPC habitat were conserved- grants funded removal of 7,341 acres of eastern red cedar, 1,894 acres of expired CRP perimeter fencing, and initiated 1,920 acres of prescribed grazing with establishment of alternative livestock water supply.
