3.1 million acres have been enrolled in Lesser Prairie Chicken CCAs and CCAAs

To date a total of 3,100,000 acres have been enrolled in Candidate Conservation Agreements (CCA) and Candidate Conservation Agreements with Assurances (CCAAs) to benefit LPC habitat. New Mexico has enrolled 815,890 acres with 29 oil and gas companies and 1,523,573 acres with 39 private landowners. Oklahoma has enrolled 200,000 acres and Texas has enrolled 595,000 acres with 74 landowners.
